In an effort to get back in time for the AGM Steve and I went to Aquamole via Rowten where we were asked to tag a bolt by Damian.

I rigged down to the bottom albeit a little slowly and the splashed around in the sump a little. When Steve got down he bravely volunteered to derig. We eventually got out after an uneventful trip but were late for the AGM - although we did make the second half.

A word of warning however. The ropes in the cave do not cover all the pitches. In particular the first and the last two pitches were not rigged to the bottom!

Nice trip that took a little idea.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
