Damian told us about a new route that had been P bolted down Jingling making it possible to do an exchange trip. I was sent to rig until the routes converged and then I took over the direct route while Roy rigged the cleft route. We had picked up a bloke called Simon who had come up to do Jingling on his own and he followed Roy down. At the bottom there was a short traverse and a small pitch which we let Simon rig. I de-rigged the cleft route while Roy went up the direct route followed by Simon de-rigging.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
