Again 8 of us turned up for this steady Sunday morning trip, and this time 8 of us did the trip. Just had a steady stroll down to the bottom, had a ferret around then made our way back out.
Think the walk up and back down was more scary due to the amount of ice that was on the track :side:

Three of us decided to do Great Douk - Limestone entrance to downstream to waterfall on the way back. After several minuets unable to find the way in I gave up. Snow covered hole stopped play :(

I did find one way in, but it didint look right, though I would end up in the tight squeezy bits that are known to flood.

I need a map, camera and GPS next time.

PJ.

Also enjoyed this sunday venture to Sunset. Especially as is was not as cold as I was expecting , the path up was very slippy although it had started to thaw a little by the time we came back down. Having a mad minute sliding down on our backsides was a laugh although Keith needed a little push from Brian  .
good end to a good weekend I thought.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
