The other half of the group from work were treated to the delights of Upper Long Churn, managing to get everyone up Dr. Banisters waterfall, despite a couple of them being well outside their comfort zone.
Then it was down to Lower long churn for a few intrepid soles to venture through the Cheese Press.
Many thanks to Paul and Pete for helping out.
Those along were; Paul G, Pete J, Stu W plus Graham, Chantelle, Matt, May, Pria and Dong.
A very international group - including Friday evenings trip we had nationals of Poland, Romania, France, India, China, Wales and even a scouser caving .
Trip time about 2 hours. A lovely day too.

Was a great trip :) even if I did nearly get drowned at the bottom dr banisters

well done to all of them, a great bunch and all pushing there comfort zones, was surprised to see everyone follow me out through diccan after the panic a few had in baptistery crawl , it always amazes me how people will try that little bit harder when they see daylight :)

put me down for next time Stu B)

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
