Four of us set off for a trip into heron but since there was a big party heading over to the cave we had a quick change of plan and headed up to Jingling to do the lateral cleft route via the new traverse and some more rigging & de-rigging practice for me
Once up at the entrance it was a steady trip to the bottom and then back out, Michelle had a bit of an epic at the top of one of the pitches but I soon shot up behind her and sorted the problem out, and off she went again. once back on the surface it was a steady walk back to the cars for some cake made by Fiona,

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
