3 of us took advantage of a pre rigged JH for a through trip to exit via Peak Cavern :)
Steady going to the bottom of JH, lot easier with no bags of rope  (payback time will be Wednesday evening when we have to go and derig it though).
Once down through the Boulder Piles we headed up stream for a detour up into Cliffhanger Series, went up as far as Cliffhanger Sump, left Puzzling Evidence and Joint Effort for another time. After abseiling back down we soon regained the streamway and headed off towards the Bung.
From there we made our way up Block Hall and through into the Kingdom and onto White River Series as Tim hadn't been there before, we then carried on to the top of the Ventilator for a 3 pitch pull through to drop us in at the start of the Trenches :woohoo:
All that was left then was the plod through into Upper Gallery (couldn't get them to do Wind Tunnel  ) and exit Peak.
Trip time 4hrs
Phil Baker, Tim Gould, Keith Mason

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
