Again just another quick trip, 6 of us walked up and dropped in the entrance, from there it was just down, down and down until we hit the Master Cave. All that was left then was the climb out the streamway and out Valley Entrance.

No it wasn't raining Ian, it was a nice day :) and no we couldn't float down the long crawl. Water levels weren't too bad but the big pitch was a bit wet :woohoo:

The cave certainly gave me the power wash my gear needed. Looks brand new now. By the way the passage I crawled down was philosophers crawl, where I completely missed the walking sized turn off and ended up crawling to the sump lol.

I only had to backtrack 20 meters or so from the sump but that last bit was all flat out.

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
