As the bad weather had held off, we decided to have a steady evening trip into Bull Pot. After getting changed and the walk up we were surprised at the lack of water going in, so after finding a pool to wet the rope for the first pitch we were soon on our way. Pretty soon we found ourselves looking at the last pitch that drops you into the sump, as it was very dry and we had the rope said pitch was quickly rigged and we were soon all standing at the bottom. All that was left then was the steady prussik out, not without a few problems though :)
After exiting it was a quick change and back in time for a few beers in the Helly!
Trip time 4hrs
Ruth Smith, Stu Weston, Lee Langdon, Keith Mason

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
