Well what can I say, other than we did it ;) Yessssss
Hard going for our 10 days underground as we were picked to go with the first team, which meant lots of transporting tackle bags through the cave and setting up camps before we got our shot at the magic -2080. From the bottom it was back to camp at -1640 for the night, before being our exit which took 3 days. 1st day up to -1400 including Siphon 1, and the last 2 days both consisted of 700mts of ascent, mainly on rope.
Both Phil and Myself would like to say a big thanks to all the people who showed and gave support and donations.....Cheers it meant a lot.

There will be a more indepth and detailed version in the newsletter

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
