As we just fancied a quick evening trip we picked Sell Gill. Took the ropes for both routes just in case the wet route was OK. When we got there the water levels were very low :) so we rigged both route, dropped down to the bottom, then after the usual look round we swopped routes and made our exit.
Trip time 1hr45
Ruth Smith, Alex Ritchie, Colum Walsh, Ales Hrabec, Keith Mason

Nice little cave that, but still not been to the bottom yet, no one told me there was another pitch after the duck :(

Oh well one day... Maybe I will do a solo outing to have a proper look around (as no one wants to wait for me while I go off exploring), I just need to source more crabs, I think I have all the rope I need though.

Alex I've got some krabs you can have if you want them, the spring has gone out of them so you have to close the gate before you screw them up. If you want them you can have them dude :)

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
