Another good turn out again this time with seven of us in total, as its only a short cave with two pitches we decided to split into two groups one rigging and one derigging.
The cave was soon located using Nigel's excellent navigation skills, and after negotiating the entrance section to the first pitch, which was soon rigged and with two deviations on the way down we were kept fairly dryish. After a couple of free climbs and a very short section of caving we arrived at the second pitch, once down this it was a quick look at the sump and then head out passing the derigg team on their way in.
Trip time 3hrs
Rig team Nigel Steel, Ales Hrabec, Brian Cullen, Keith Mason
Derig team Susan Blackburn, Alex Wallman, Stu Weston

When I did that trip, we couldent find the deviations. It was cold as the water was from snow melt. We also then had to rescue a mate who had followed us in unknown to us. He managed to fall down the ent climb. We had to haul him out and drive him to hospital. Good trip lol. (Bruised splene, 2 broken ribs, a badly gashed finger all from falling 6ft!)

Was not high water, so pitch was just wet heavy rain style.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
