Was going to head up to the Dales but due to weather opted to cave in the Peak. We went for a JH trip as we knew we would at least get to the bottom, but that was about it. We went through the Boulder Piles only to find the water flowing over the top of them stopping any further progress as we didn't fancy getting washed along the Speedwell streamway. Also went and had a look at the connection to Titan, this was about 3mts under water......no through trips for a while then
After that all that was left was the steady prussik out, must have been very wet as water was spouting out through the walls of Bitch Pitch, never seen it like that before.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
