As we had the luxury of a 4x4 we opted for a ride into Kingsdale for a pull through in Simpsons :) with no shovel insight
After parking up at the usual spot and getting changed we set off to beat a path through the snow on our way up onto Turbary Road, after spending some time in the snow we eventually found the entrance  after that it was pretty straight forward even Slit Pot.
All was going well until we hit the Master Cave and there was no rope on it, Ooops!!!, but after a short free climb and some ingenious rope work we were sorted and on our way back to the car :P
After getting changed, the drive back out was fun as it was now getting very slippery but nothing a bit of 4 wheel low couldn't handle ;)
Trip time 2hrs15
Julie Butcher, James Finch, Rich Rae, Lee Langdon, Keith Mason

Most people expect the rope to be thier and not everyone reads UK miserys, they shoud really have put some notices up saying it has been removed! I can see it causing a rescue if there are no super cavers like you in the party.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
