The day started well, Arriving at the school there was no willing folk to go caving with so after a quick check of the description in northern caves I set off for Ribble head

Getting ready I realized that I had forgot my wellies, although I did have with my my fell running shoes so I slipped them on and set off in search of all the entrances

The water was freezing on my 'naked' feet. I managed to link between 1,2,3 and 4 but only got maybe a third of the way downstream of 4 before the pain of the cold in my toes forced a retreat into the sunshine

Trip time: about an Hour including walking there and back!
Party: Billy No Mates

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
