Four of us went for a steady photo trip into Giants Hole (after Stu had drove around the Village of Scisset several times on the way)

Ales was Top Model and spent quite a while hanging over Garlands Pot, and then stood in the bottom waving lights around getting wet.

After that we spent a little while playing in Base Camp Chamber and eventualy found our way out via a little detour into the upper series

Here is one of my pictures from last time (this time I did more modeling/exploring)

Time: 2hr30 (ish)
Party: Anthony, Stu, Ales, Ruth

Stu's Picture

Not too shabby this one

Thats how Stu described this one!

Here is my shot of Ales hanging over Garlands pot

The same shot slightly adjusted in Photoshop

I did pack a ladder for the purpose of this shot so there wouldn't be any 'swinging rope' and for a more engaging pose but it didnt end up getting on the pitch

Also it appeared as if the top of the crabwalk rift was sufficiently lit on the camera's preview but its a few shades too dark. :(

Practice makes perfect though :cheer:

Giants is easier from Oxlow as you can de-tackle by pulling absiel ropes after you and exiting via top series in Giants,As Paul says it is rather tight in the connection.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
