Good turnout for this weekend and as there was several trips going it just left our group of 7 for a Titan to Peak trip :) After parking up and the walk across in the freezing cold we soon found ourselves at the entrance for Titan, as the ropes were already in, it was just a case of open the main lid and let the entrance rope back down. Then we all started our descent and pretty soon we were all sat in the bottom of Titan  from there it was the normal tourist trip through to the bottom of JH, although there was a fair bit of water in the connection :woohoo: I have known it worse. After a brief chat with Phil and Lee who were waiting to ascend JH we made our way through the Boulder Piles and after a brief detour to Main Rising and the Miners Toasts we turned round and made our way along the Speedwell Canal to the Bung. From the Bung it was the Short Bypass, Egnaro Aven and the joys of Colostomy Crawl  , couldn't get no takers for the Wind Tunnel :( so we carried on and popped out in Upper Gallery. On the way out Gordon fancied a look at Moss Chamber, so three of us headed there whilst the rest made there way out, after Moss Chamber the rest of us had a steady trip out

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
