I have never done any of these so took the opportunity to go take some youngsters for a play in Runscar & Thistle caves.
Thanks to Paul for showing us were they are, and supplying the victims. They are great little caves and good fun novice trips - just enough for me that day.

Paul & Karen thomas took along Tom & Nick, plus Stu Weston. About 1 hr.

I've been in those caves far too many times. But they are great for kids, or days when you really don't want to do much.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
