Similar scenario to the Titan crew for this trip as in freezing cold while getting kitted up and walking over in a blizzard. Wasn't a long walk though and pretty soon we were lifting the lid on JH and getting ready to descend, at least we would be out of the elements.
Fairly steady going for the six of us and it wasn't long before we were at the bottom of JH were we found the Titan crew waiting for us in a rather cold state.......did tell Brian to give it another half hour before they went in
After a regroup we made our way down through the boulder piles and into the Speedwell Canal for the steady plod to the Bottomless Pit, after waiting for the boat to come and go we all got in the water again for the long walk out  after the final climb up the stairs we were back into the freezing cold for a walk back to the TSG hut :)
Trip time 3hrs
Paul Geddes, Michelle Geddes, Paul Horner, Nigel Steel, Pete James, Keith Mason
Titan crew
Ales Hrabec, James Blake, Brian Cullen

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
