Good turn out for Phil's birthday caving trip with 9 of us in total including 4 of the Irish who had come over for the weekend :)
Normal tourist route down JH and regroup at the bottom of Leviathan before making our way through for the joys of Colostomy Crawl......yet again :woohoo:
When we got to the turn off for the Wind Tunnel this time, I found I had 2 willing volunteers daft enough to follow me  so leaving the rest of the team heading for a side trip to Moss Chamber before heading out the 3 of us made a start on said Wind Tunnel.
The first half was mainly flat out crawling in about 6" deep liquid shite with helmet off and pushing a tackle bag eating mud as we went :(
The second half was a bit better but not a lot ;) and pretty soon we popped out in Galena Chamber for a steady trip back out, after the obligatory washing off at Buxton Sump. Cheers to Phil Baker and Tony Seddon for being daft enough  for following me through the Wind Tunnel.
Trip time 3hrs 30
Phil Baker, Tony Seddon, Tim Gould, Lee Langdon, Keith Mason and the Irish

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
