The sun made a welcome appearance for the long overdue Beecroft family's return to our roots (see grid ref SD 799 726) 
Saturday saw a walk from the hut to Pen-y-ghent and Plover Hill, returning via Hunt Pot and Hull pot and an ice cream in Horton
An early start on Sunday meant 'only' a 3 hour wait for the winch down GG, with a dash up Ingleborough with my cousin to fill the time, while my parents watched Rich/Keith/Ales head down Corky's.
This was followed by Rich making donuts while me/Peter/Ales joined the Hades gang climbing at Settle.
By Monday the sun had disappeared, so it was time for a quick trip in Valley Entrance before the rain arrived.
