Had a quick wander through the Runscar series with an interesting squeeze down the bottom end then attempted Scar Top. After a bit of umming and erring we found the way on from a large space in what I assume was runscar 1. Hadn't expected the crawl to be that tight and got we got as far as an \"intricate but short passage\" before turning back deciding we were a little under prepared :side:

Had a look outside afterwards to find the old entrance which is meant to come down after said passage. It looked pretty blocked up but definitely worth further investigation.

I remember it being a slot at the bottom of a 10 foot shakehole, a little L shaped if memory serves.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
