Only 2 of us made this evening trip to Shuttleworth Pot

The weather during the day was horrendous, I even folded the seats down in the car and got changed inside while waiting for Gordon there was so much rain and wind!

Miraculously as Gorden turned up the rain vanished and we soon headed off across leck fell discussing route finding tactics and even more of a miracle we ended up right on top of the entrance.

Gordon was happy for the rigging practice, leaving me to follow behind with my bag of gear. As his call time didnt leave too long to play David Baily I went for the two shots that I tried for last year when I forgot to take a tripod and then we made a quick exit.

Both shots turned out reasonable and I'll be entering both at hidden earth (Not holding out much hope for any prizes though!) so be there if you want to see them!

Present: Anthony, Gordon.
Trip Time 3:30 car to car

P.S. Took a picture of the sediment bank in passing for Nigel :silly:

I'm not sure if Nigel is serious here? I wasn't 100% when I took the picture or I would have taken some time over it!

You can defo have the original Ian

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
