As 3 of our party had headed off to Charterhouse with Mark, it left the other 5 of us heading to GB with Bean and 2 more from the Wessex. After getting changed and walking over to the entrance we split into two groups, as there are two routes into the main cave. Group 1 took the option and went via the leap of faith :woohoo: and the other group took the second option.
After a look around we made our way up Ladder Climb and headed off to have a look in Bat Passage and Great Chamber, bumping into the other group on our travels. From there it was a case of retrace our steps back to the surface, after getting changed it was back to the hut for tea and biccies

Trip time 2hrs15
Group 1
Samantha Mason, Jordan Smith, Bean, Keith Mason
Group 2
Susan Blackburn, Alex Wallman, 2 Wessex

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
