Another one for Gary to tick off :) , after meeting at the Bulls Head and putting all the gear in the truck we went for a bit of green laneing to save a long walk. Once changed and entrance pitch rigged, it wasn't long before we were all at the bottom. Dumping SRT kit we went for a wander, did all 3 main passages and had a look in the 2012 dig, also had a ferret down the Olympic Stroll before returning back to the bottom of the pitch, once kitted back up it was just a quick Prussik out and an even quicker change. Finished off with a bit more green Laneing back to the pub ;)
Trip time 2hrs

1st trip I ever organised was to WICC, I remember buying the CPC rigging guide and looking for the easiest thing in there. Ended up parking practically in the village due to the mud and snow but second time round dragged the Volvo right upto the gate.

Ill have to get my arse in gear and have a look at the new new extensions :-)

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
