Was meant to be an Orpheus trip but was mostly attended by YSS members, and it was another one for Gary to tick off. Also it was his most out of his comfort zone trip to date :woohoo:
Did it as a through trip, rigged top entrance and abed in then left all SRT kit tied to bottom of rope to retrieve later. Started to make our way down through a couple of tight bits to gain the Streamway, from there we carried on into Nervous Breakdown which involves working your way through a boulder choke via several squeezy bits and some crawling in the Stream, which tonight was very sporty
Once past this obstacle it was easier going as we headed for the lower entrance and after passing a few more tricky bits we were soon making our way out of the oil drums, all that was left then was to go back to the top entrance to retrieve our SRT kits and the rope. After a quick change it was off to the Moon Inn for a swift half or two

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
