As my grandson wanted to have a go at caving, we decided to take him for a trip into Giants Hole. We weren't to sure how far we were going to get, but by the time we got to the top of Garlands it was pretty obvious that he was OK to go further. This in turn ended up with us doing the round trip. Apart from a helping hand on Garlands and one of the climbs he managed the rest on his own, even enjoyed the windpipe. Big thanks to Col for helping out with his time and some kit :)

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
