Great, quick trip to derig.

Nice and sunny on the surface, great views and nice and warm - lounged around sunbathing before going in. Went as far as Event Horizon just to undo the maillons, bagged and hauled up the main pitch using a pulley jammer (how rare the occasion!). Hannah hauled all the rope up the entrance pitch in one go using the counter balance we learnt at Ingleborouh Hall last summer. Still nice and sunny on the surface. Were joined in the enclosure by two from the TSG \"out for a walk\" (hungover?). They carried a bag each back to the car and we gave them a lift back to the hut.

Ian W and Hannah B (plus two ramblers).

An enjoyable and memorable weekend, thanks to everyone.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
